Default Clutch recommendations?

I am looking at a 99 Camaro, runs good, everything on it is pretty good except it needs a new slave cyclinder because under hard pressure the clutch looses pressure, so I will replace the clutch as well. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what clutches they have had good or bad experiences with along with salve Cyclinders.

So far the only place I have found slave Cyclinders is at Jegs and Summit racings and they both seemed pretty generic, is that ok?

I'm still new to LS1's and don't know where and what the best places to look for parts is, any help would be appreciated.

theres plenty of sponsors on here, all the sites on the right of the page. I like also shop at places like thunderracing.com or texas-speed.com. As far as slave, get an updated one, i think its an 01+ and the clutch, im using a spec stage 3+ and love it.

So make sure to get an 01+ slave? Yeah I think I might go with a spec stage 3, what I have in my current car, is a clutch cable adjuster required with an aftermarket clutch such as that though?

A lot of guys have good luck with the LS6 and LS7 clutch kits on F-Bodies. They are excellent if you want a street friendly car with a clutch that can still hold up to mods. They retain the stock pedal feel and engagement, but they hold more power than the stock LS1 clutch.

Are there any good places that sell the LS6 and 7 clutch kits for a decent price? I know ordering straight from Chevy would prolly cost me a fortune.

Another vote for the LS7 clutch. It will hold power around 450rwhp and will have great street manners.
