How important is the moisture guard?
I changed my clutch about 8 months ago and never put that thing back in.
Could water in the hydraulic fluids cause corrosion in the steel parts of the hydraulic system?
Would it also ruin the hydraulic properties of the DOT4 fluid, making the pedal feel spongy?
And also, when bleeding the system with the slave bleeder screw, can I just let the fluid run back down the stem into the bellhousing?
