Default lou short shift vs short throw

hey guys i wanted to get a short shifter but i was wondering if there was any difference between the lous short shift versus the short throw shifter from the ws6store. just wondering if one is better than the other or why the price difference. thanks

FWIW, I love my WS6store short throw on my factory Hurst. I think LSS might be angled more towards the driver though. LSS, UMI's Stick and WS6store Stick are all quality pieces. Another tidbit, if you don't have a FACTORY HURST or an aftermarket base shifter (Pro 5.0, B&M, Etc.), then the new short stick may hit your console. Example, stock shifter on a Z28 or regular Trans Am. The Hurst was an option for these models. I *believe* Hursts were standard on SS and WS6, but don't quote me on that.

I have a LSS on my Pro 5.0 and love it, but judging by the pictures they appear to be about the same. Mine does lean in towards the driver a little though. Not sure if the one from the WS6 store does though.

how do i know if i have a hurst? my shifter right now has a leather **** with a H on top. does that mean i have a hurst on mine? or is there another way to find out?
