Default Hydraulic line (drill mod) Question

I have read up on this....Instead of doing the drill mod, I see Mcleod Clutches has these steel lines, would it not just be easier to unbolt the stock line and throw in the better higher flowing (restrcition free) mcleod line??? I have a 2001 so I believe I can leave the rest of the stock hydraulics alone....Is it easy to swap this line? Prolly gonna do it when I get my clutch changed.

I hope this will fix my 1-2 no spin problem (off the line, roasting the tires, at about 5000 RPM, clutch in, shift to 2nd, clutch out and gas it = no tire spin). I think the clutch is just not grabbing.

Thx for any info, looks like the mcleod piece is of high quality.

Thx

Replacing the line would be just as hard as the drill mod. The DM takes about 2 minutes once the master and line are out. You'll have to take the master out to get to the line connection at the master.

If you have clutch slippage, I don't think the DM will help. That's a different issue. THe DM just improves clutch pedal to slave response time.
