Default Broken Tranny Mount??

SO i think i have a broken tranny mount. Whenever i lay into it my shift stick rolls ro the right a little then raises up about 2inches... i talked to my neighbor about it and he builds hot rods and knows cars and he said it was pry the tranny mount, but he didnt have time to ride in it and tell me for sure. i just want to know if anyone else has had this problem so i can get this fixed by the next time i go to the track

The stock rubber trans mounts are known to tear from time to time...mine did. I got a polyurethane mount, and haven't worried about it since. It is an easy swap, so just get in there and do it. It'll probably take you longer to jack the car than to replace the mount.

I'd guess so...they aren't really a specialty item.
