Default Please Help Me!!!!

i have bad news...today when i was pulling into work, the "service engine soon" light came on..at 1st it was flashing then it just stayed on...and the car seemed like it was about to die..and there was shaking and it seemed like i twas coming from underneath the car....also while i drove it home, the shift *** seemed like it wanted to "pop out" of gear...the car is very sluggish..can anyone help me as to what this might be? id really apreciate it..some one at work told me that it might be the mass air sensor....but i dont. know thanks guys

flashing light usually means misfire

I had the same thing somewhat and it turned out one of my Taylor plug wires on the driver side popped off. Of course it'll be obvious when you pop the hood and see the sparks and hear the clicking.

ok..thanks guys..ill go to autozone to get it checked out tomorrow morning..does anyone know if autozone charges for this? thanks again
