How long did it take to do the standing mile?? If you were low on power where you needed it most, you should hit 200. Intimi8 did. You make the same power. Turn up the boost 1 more psi to comp for ther aerodynamics!

Fwiw that was at 19lbs of boost, or about 790rwhp. (makes 100 more at 24psi).
6,800rpm with 315/35/17's, .80 5th gear and 3.25 rear gears. (would have been better with a 3.0 rear gear to go through the traps with less rpm).
The G-force trans will take full power upshifts no problem. Unless I'm just on the Goodyear Eagles, every run down the track is made without lifting off the gas pedal and it just clicks into gear.

I am making just about the same power and have 3.08 gears. I guess I have to talk the wife into learning how to drive a stick now.(No comments necessary!) What about a matching clutch?
Boy... hard choice. I really like my T400 with the brake, but I do not have overdrive, I can never go 200 mph, and It will be harder to roadrace. Hmmm.

Is that pretty much the only choice for a clutch?
As far as the trans, are there better years then others??
What about a flywheel??
This 6 speed thing is all new to me, I have been doing some research, but not many guys run this power level, so recomendations are different.

Lotta people been going with the textrailia twin plate too, though I don't know if it's available with an aluminum flywheel.
Some people in the road racing tell me that you can't use an aluminum flywheel on the street though as you have no moment of inertia to speak of. Meaning you can't just let the clutch out slowly, without giving any gas, and have the vehicle creep forward. With a heavy flywheel, this is a breeze, as it has a lot of inertia.

But dont forget, the clutch cover itself is a massive weight.
An Alloy flywheel isnt going to make that much of a difference.

I know drive train components fit into the mix, but at least a guesstimation.

Currently my trans is stock. OZ700 sprung plated Textralia clutch, and some Fuchs ATF4000 Dexron III.
Nothing fancy at all, and its holding up superbly. I dont hammer it off the line as yet, with 1.7x being my best 60fts launching around 4500rpm.
Im also quite easy as a driver, I dont flat shift, and dont abuse the trans in daily use, although on the road, the tyres aid box longivity. ie lack of traction.
Im going for the full package from T56rebuilds. Everything they do to a stock T56 + fully cryo'd gears and a 30T output shaft and shorter 5th and 6th gears
I did consider a G-Force, but in the end opted for the cryo'd standard box instead.
My current box hasnt broke and its stock, so I think the cryo' box will be fine. My biggest concern was the stock 27T output shaft anyway. Fair enough, gears may get chewed up, but I'll always have 4th gear to get me home regardless.
If the output shaft breaks, Im stranded.
Hopefully Amber will be shipping it out any day now. Might be a while before Im racing again though, but should be able to get some road miles on it soon enough.

Oh we have broken 3 of them. I have a lot of customers who send theres in broken with 800+hp but it all depends on how you drive it. Ours were not normal parts failures but parts that just could not handle what we do. We just continue to rebuild it and put it back in the car. It wouldn't look good for T56Rebuilds.com not to use there own transmission
It also gives us a good idea of what breaks and when.
Thanks,
Amber

Well, I would consider stripping all the teeth off of the input shaft gear and countershaft gear broken, but that's just me
