Im trying to figure out if i have a bad syncro,or a bent 5th gear shift fork.It is almost impossible to down shift from 6th to 5th,but if I go from 6th to 4th,and then 4th to 5th,It works fine,almost...My other issue is if I shift from 4th to 5th,normally,and i don't hold the shifter in 5th until the clutch is completely released,it will pop out of gear. I think this stems from all the 2nd to 5th speed shifts I made while I was still dealing with that FPOS factory "Hurst" garbage.Sometimes the shifter would go into some place between 3rd and 5th and get stuck,or it would wedge it self into 5th, and then it would be hard to pull it back out. I need some opinions here;what do YOU think?

I just fixed this EXACT same problem. As time went on it got worse. It was finally grinding like the syncro was going out. As it turns out there are plastic tabs that are on the shifting forks. One of these tabs were broke (only on one side of the shifting fork) and it caused the problem.
