I got the 6'' and It is way better.

Been wanting to see if the stick is supposed to be center or more to the right since the switch. Mine is more toward the right and not centerd. It sometimes hits the right side when I get into reverse. Other than that, great item for $25.

I have one in my '00 Z28, it does come close to the console, but its not a problem. I love the way it feels when shifting. Get it!

Well I got the 6 as I don't drive mine every day and don't really care too much about reverse. I had the 6.5 with my camaro and loved it and am giving the shorter one a try. 24 bucks isn't bad for somethign to try- free shipping.

well I have the hurst shifter and when I got the book taken off there is still a rubber book covering everything. Should I just rip it off, cut it or is there a easy way to get it off as it doesn't seem to want to budge?

I have the WS6StoreShortShifter with the Hurts Shifter no problems at all. I did have to use loctire and some extra washers to get it to tighten.

i have it on a stock shifter(non-Hurst) with the slp shift **** and it was hitting the console, and it was pretty bad on 4th, but i ordered the round aluminum shift **** with no neck and that came in a couple days later and it doesn't hit the console anymore. it's pretty close though w/ less than an inch to spare...gotta get use to the aluminum shift **** though, make sure your hands aren't sweaty hehe

Damn - I just orderd my SLP lid + decals at WS6STORE. I think I will order the short stick now too. I think I will go with the 6.5inch one, not sure if the 6inch isn't to short.

Are there any Noise or Vibration differences between the WS6Store short stick and the stock Hurst Shifter?

Ordering mine any minute now....just trying to decide whether to go 6" or 6.5". Ohhh decisions decisions .

Edit: Just ordered the 6". And by reading through all these good things about it, I can't wait to try it out.

they are awesome! I have it on my 01 factory hurst ws6 and it makes the shifting so much easier and firm! No more missing the 2-3 shift for me! It does make abit more noise when shifting, but i like it. The firmness is unreal!

I have the 6 inch and I love it. I am running a Hurst shifter now, but I have never had problems with it hitting the console regardless of the shifter. I have had the stock ****, MBA ball shifter, Hurst pistol grip, and now a Hurst T handle to run a line lock. The MBA was the best feeling shifter, Going to cut a 1/2 in off of the short stick though so I can get the T handle to fit exactly where I want it[IMG][/IMG]
