Shims and bleeding
What is the deal with shims and bleeding the clutch?
When you do a clutch install with a resurface flywheel, do you need shims rather it is a 98 or 2001? Are the shims just for the 98 cars?
Do you always have to bleed the clutch after dropping the tranny?
While doing my heads and cam swap, I took the transmission down to look at the clutch condition. Everything looked good so I put it backed together w/o any changes. Cars drives great (2001 camaro)
