Can anyone tell me why it is hard to shift into 5th gear at higher rpms with a 6 speed. I have a 2000 ss camaro. I've asked other people with the same model transmissions and they have the same problem. Just currious, it's not a real big issue.

 

i'm one of those other people with same problem... exact same car 2000 SS... no one has ever told me the answer

 

Im no transmission expert... but id assume its due to the syncros. Just a guess though.
