Default t56 rebuild kits

about to order a rebuild kit for my t56 and I would like to know who has the higher quality product, dd performance or t56rebuilds. cost is not really an issue, I want the internals to be strong.

I think the parts are the same no matter who you get them from. But I could be wrong, I've used both companies and both trannies are still in good working order. I think for the money, you get more from D&D at least more little stuff like shifter cups, pads, etc. T56 will send that stuff and usually at no cost but you have to ask for it. I think both have good tech support, but T56 seems more willing to sit and walk you through problems. So in short you can't go wrong with either.

I get alot of my parts from D&D so they are the same. You do have to ask for the small parts like Carl said but other than that we get the parts from the same place.

Thanks,
Amber

I LOVE AMBER!

I can honestly say that their customer service is the best that I have EVER had from ANY company, automotive related or not!

I tried doing the rebuild these last few weeks and was having huge shifting problems(1st, 2nd and reverse). Amber told me to bring the tranny up to the shop yesterday and they squared me away! I was missing a thrust washer.

T56REBUILDS is the ONLY place I will trust my 6-speeds with from now on.

AMBER I hope you enjoy the pizza!

EDIT- and you might want to look into the mycronite finishing that t56rebuilds has.

Thanks Patrick. Just glad you were able to get off and swing our way. You are not the only one that has done it themselves and left out a small part. Take Care and Hope you don't have to call me again even thought you are great to talk with

I've have nothing but great things to say about t56rebuilds.... Parts might be the same but their customer service is second to none..
