not sure, but the billet plus is a badass shifter, with an awsome feel.

Same here, don't know, but I have a billet plus and it's an awesome shifter. As far as I know, the billet plus is the only one available for our cars.

I think they are both short throws but the comp has the shifter stops.

pro 5.0 feels a little softer then the billet plus. I don't like that personally.

I just installed a billet plus in my car and it seems like it takes a lot of muscle to push it over to the right to get up into reverse.

Absolutely awesome! I have one and love it. Whoever says it takes too much muscle to use it needs to grow a sack. I don't find it hard to use at all. My girlfriend drives the car on occasion without any problems at all! The shifter has a great positive engagement feel to it and it feels impossible to miss a gear. I would recommend it to anyone.

I said I think it takes a lot of muscle to get it in reverse, not too much, and on a comparative basis (compared to the SS Hurst oem shifter), it does. My oem shifter was easy/simple to throw into reverse. IMO, with the Billet/Plus, it takes substantially more effort to find reverse. It's managable, but different. I think my wife would have difficulty with it.

To answer the question of how it shifts otherwise, IMO, it shifts fine, but, I don't see much difference in the throw of the Billet/Plus and my oem shifter. Additionally, the Billet/Plus shifter stick is actually taller than the oem stick. I'm not sure I like the orientation of the stick either, although it looks like the Pro-5.0 and LSS are similarly oriented. The Billet/Plus stick is oriented further to the left and to the rear than the oem stick. The tower on the Billet/Plus is located nearer the passenger side than the oem shifter, and it's a tight fit relative to the console. I've seen others advise that you should find someone who has the shifter you're thinking about getting and try it for yourself first. I think that's sage advice. Find someone in your local f-body club who has what you're thinking about buying and try theirs first.

And, FYI, Hurst is now B&M.

Billet shifter has stiffer center springs ,that's why it's harder to move to reverse..the throw is the same for pretty much all aftermarket shifters, the main advantage between the stock Hurst and Bilet/Comp is the stops...

Comp is the older model I believe before they came out with the billet plus. The comp uses a cast base I believe vs machined billet of the billet plus. I had looked at both but found a steal on an open box billet plus so I picked that up. I believe the comp plus also comes with the chrome stick where it is optional on the billet plus. I put a WS6 store short stick on my billet plus anyways and love it with my Hurst pistol grip shift handle.
