6 speed conversion
so i have a t56 out of a 94 camaro and i was wondering what i need to get to convert my auto to manual. and since the the tranny came out of a lt1 what would i need to change to put it on my ls1?

not sure what you need to hook it up to an LS1 but I think it's more of a pain than you think. You would probably be better off selling that and getting one for an LS1. do a search there's a lot of info on this.
But as for parts you need besides the tranny is:
Bellhousing
clutch, PP, FW
master cylinder
slave cylinder (if it's not on the T56 already)
pedals
shifter
console w/shifter boot
retune your PCM or acquire one from a M6 car already
clutch safety start switch
clutch cruise shutoff switch
pilot bearing or bushing
T56 crossmember
fluid
you can use a M6 harness or just splice your A4 whires
make sure your tranny has a reverse lockout solenoid, reverse lights switch, and VSS
the driveshaft is the same length for A4 and M6 but the majority of M6's are aluminum and A4's are usually steel (stock)
not sure if I'm missing anything, I probably am missing some small stuff. But go through the sticky and find the guide someone on here wrote up. It gives a list of everything and how to do the swap.
