Notchy Transmission Hey guys. I replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and slave cylinder in my '98 WS6. I have put about 2000 miles on the new parts. I put the Ram Powergrip HD clutch kit into the car. When I first installed the clutch, the 'feel' of the clutch changed in the first 600 miles.
However, the 'notchy' feel has not gone away; and wasn't present prior to the clutch change.
It is difficult to get into reverse, and slightly 'notchy' going into first and second gear.
I have bled the system numerous times, and even used the mity vac technique. There is no air in the system.
Any suggestions?

The problem is with the design of the pre-2001 hydrualics (master cylinders included). A buddy of mine installed a Spec II in his '98 SS, and his master cylinder took a **** within 100 miles (doing about the same thing yours was). They were known for bleeding pressure if I'm not mistaken, which could cause what you are describing. Might be something to look into...
