Re: Cartek Adjustable master
same thing happened with mine. Your reverse lockout is stuck. I had a blown engine sensor fuse on mine, once I replaced it, it went into reverse like normal. Make sure the rod is all the way screwed in, and tighten the nut. I hand tightened the nut on my last cylinder and the rod snapped in half leaving me stranded about 40 miles from home.

Yeah I bought it from John H. You from Columbus Ga? If so I only live about 45 miles from you. I hope to get the bugs worked out tonight so I can go to the track. When you say screwed all the way in you mean up or down as in closer to the clutch pedal or closer to the Master?

Cartek Adjustable master
Ok I just got everything installed on my car for the new Cartek clutch and I only have two problems. The first thing is the car is really hard to get into reverse, all other gears are fine. Second the clutch dosen't engage until almost the very top of the pedal almost all the way out. I have good pedal pressure and such but I don't know which way to adjust the nut on the rod to fix this and will it fix it not going into reverse. Also it feels jumpy when easing out on the clutch like someone just learning how to drive a stick if you know what I mean. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Screw it in so less threads show. I'm from columbus, ohio but I've talked to John for about 3 years over the net. He offered that vortech to me but I was low on $$. nice guy.
