Major clutch or hydraulic problems
First off i tried to search but i couldnt find anyone with the same symptoms i have. I bought my 1999 SS Camaro in October. Ever since i bought the car, the clutch pedal stuck or got very mushy and wouldnt fully disengauge at WOT. It was perfect while driving normal. I have bled it so many times with no luck. I have also done the drill mod. So yesterday i installed a new clutch master cylinder because the old one was pushing black crap up into the resivor. I bled the system with the new master cylinder but now it is barely drivable. When starting off in first the pedal shoots all the way up and gets rock hard. When this happens i can hear a hissing air sound that i think is coming from the master cylinder. During the 1st to 2nd shift the clutch isnt fully disengauging so its like im shfting without the clutch. After that it sticks very low to the floor. and i have to pump it up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When you bled the clutch, how did you do it. Did you try the mighty vack method. It sounds to me like you have air in the system or the fluid line that goes from the resevor to the master has a leek in it.

Im almost posative there are no leaks i need to double check though. I bled it two ways. First, i opened the bleeder screw and had someone push the pedal to the floor. That method didnt work so then i had someone pump the pedal, then hold to the floor while i opened and closed the bleeder. Thanks for the reply.
