Default push clutch
do the 1996 camaro and corvetet operate on the same push style clutch?

there is no hole in my clutch fork and the slave pushes towards the engine to disengage it doesnt pull towards the trans to disengage all i want to know is if the 1996 vette and 1996 camaro disengage the same way

Yes they do and they are both pull designs. The slave pushes towards the engine but it has a pivot inside the bellhousing. So the throw out bearing pulls away from the engine.

it looks like they use a similar pull style setup. so i would assume they disengage the same way

As mentioned above they are both pull-type.

thanks for your help sorry about the pull push thing someone told me that it was called a push clutch and now i look like the idiot

Pull clutches are used a lot on various applications. They require less space and are easier on the thrust bearing.
