Need clutch info... Ok, so currently I'm running the LS7/LS2 clutch combo. As of right now it works perfect, but I'm worried about when I add the cam & nitrous. I know it'll be fine for regular driving, its the upper RPM's & nitrous I'm worried about.
This is what I need to know.
What is the disc measurement of the LS7 clutch kit??
I'm lookin to do something not many on here have done from reading, but several local guys do this with great results. I'm gonna look for a fingered sprung disc like a Spec of the same diameter. There is a local shop that will re-puk the disc with brass.
I know it sounds odd, but it actually works great. So far everyone I know thats running one loves it. It will have some chatter, but I will not have to worry about it grabbing. It actually gets better the hotter it gets instead of slipping. Or at least thats what I'm told by current owners of the same disc style.
I wanna say its 11", but I got this bad feeling I'm gonna be wrong if I just guess. I called the local dealership & they couldn't find it. Any help is much appreciated.
