I have a couple important Lt1 t56 questions please help Ok i got this LT1 car with t56. It has a newer clutch and rebuild on it (or so the previous owner says). The car runs and drives fine and shifts fine if the car is moving or turned off. When the car is running and in neutral it is almost impossible to get into first gear after coming to a stop. You have to jam it back and forth into 4th, 3rd and 2nd to get it back into first. If the car is rolling it shifts fine and it shifts great under power. What the hell could this be? It really sucks. I tried bleeding the clutch but i couldnt find a bleeder wtf? Please help me out here. I know the tranny has a bad oil in it could that hurt anything?

sounds like you have air in the system or you clutch isn't releasing all the way. when your moving it's relying on the synchros to make it shift. i havent figured out my self either how to properly bleed these. Last time i had to take it in with the similar problem.
