Spec Stage 3+ I just got a Spec stage 3+ install yesterday for the most part its running pretty good. The shop that installed it said that first gear the car is going to shake a little, which it does. Is that normal and if so is there anyway that I can some how get rid of the shaking. Also, does anybody have an opinion on spec clutches, especially the stage 3+. Thank You. One more thing the car is a daily driver.
It is the normal brake in chatter. After a few hundred miles it will go away, and it will also grab harder. I know a few people with the spec 3 and love them, the only problem is that they grab so hard alot of people are braking there rear ends with them.
00Blue, Mark has a 3+ which is different than the stage 3. A 3 will always hit harder because it is a pucked disc. Stage 3+ is quite progressive and thus easily driven and easy on the drivetrain.
Mark, as for your chatter, yes it is normal and yes it will go away with mileage. Break it in properly and it will be more reliable than a Trojan. Let me know if you all have any further questions. Thanks,

My chatter went away around the 600-700 mark on my spec3. Just don't slip it when your breaking it in. If there's still a little chatter after breaking it in, just do a couple of 3-4k dumps on the street and it'll be gone.

yeah, i had a shop do it, i mean it's starting to get a lil better...just a little !

ws6store.com is the **** I perfer to deal with them fast shipping never had to call them back for a thing... Funny story i expected my clutch to take a little bit to get here and it was over a week. Emailed them on the progress of my clutch and they said it should of been at my house 2 days ago.. It was sitting on porch for a few days lol.
As far as the spec 3 plus it has been a good clutch so far about 8k miles on it grabs hard and has no funny smells after i beat on the car. I think i would go with another clutch of this brand i just wish i installed a brand new flywheel with mine because after the install i was hearing that if your flywheel has been turned to many times it will reduce the life of your clutch and they arent that cheap mine ran me about 530 shipped. And do your self a favor and make sure your hydrolics are good. I have a slight issue and i am about to start a thread on it actualy.
