Default Slave cylinder?

It took me a while of testing to figure out how to ask this question.
I have all new stuff (flywheel, ls6 clutch and PP, and new master + slave), and i have had it for 6 months no issues until now. Everytime the rpm's go past 5k, it seems like the line pressure in the clutch goes away and i can't change gears until i let it drop. Well, needlss to say i can't race anything now. The fluid level is fine and i don't see any leaks. I'm boggled by this one.

You mean the clutch sticks to the floor after hard runs? If so then you could be getting your hydraulic fluid hot, and after several times its junk. Insulate the stainless steel line, flush out all the old fluid, bleed the clutch, and re-test.

Did you do the drill mod to the restrictir in the braided line? If not then you need to do it. Also be sure to wrap the braided line in a piece of heater hose and tie it off away from the header. That will ensure the fluid isnt boiling in the line.

You better do the drill mod too, it wont break the rear end. If you dont drill it out the grind probably wont go away.

Anyway if you are making enough power and are launching hard enough to have to worry about breaking the rear you might as well but a new upgraded rear.

This is interesting, never heard of this before. Does anyone have any pictures of the hydraulic line that we should wrap? Wan't an idea of where it is located and looks like.

I got a new textralia clutch for my car because after a couple hard full throttle runs on my car the pedal is dead and on the floor and car is barely driveable. I do have 400+ rwhp on the stock clutch which I know is going to toast it anyways.

It's the braided line going from the resevoir to the tranny. If you're running headers that line tends to rest on the #7 primary. This is where you need to wrap the line at. If you have some how re-routed that line then you're fine.

Im going to get a pic of how I did my braided line so you guys can have a reference. All i did was wrap a piece of heater hose around the braided line and then tied the line off away from the header.

This would definitely be helpful.

I just wonder now if I ever needed a clutch and wasn't boiling my tranny fluid?

Its not the tranny fluid that boils, its the hydro fluid in the clutch lines.
