Master Cylinder Problem Again.
If anyone could lend me some advice that would be great. I have replaced my master cylinder a little over a year ago and it's going out again? Any suggestions on keeping another one from going bad or a different brand other than OEM ?? It's a 1999 LS1 TA Please let me know what you guys think I should do because it's annoying at the least and a waste of money.

I race my car, so I think it qualifies for extreme conditions lol.
But I regularly flush the fluid. I use it's color as an indicator as to when time to flush it.
If it starts to darken up, it's time to go. I usually flush at least twice a year.
Has worked great for me. No hydraulic issues anymore 4 years, & 2 clutches.
I also like to use a high quality DOT3 fluid, higher the boiling point the better.

I'd say get an adjustable master and adjust it out correctly. It is highly likely your problem is further down towards your slave too. A master shouldnt be going out like that, unless its a Mcleod or something where there are always problems.
I have a new RAM Adj. Master for sale, just PM me anyone is interested.
