Default How Do You Fix a Sticking Clutch?

My clutch sticks. I know because when parked on an incline in gear if I push in the clutch the car doesnt roll back right away. It will slowly roll back and then the clutch finally disengages and its like normal. Plus, I put the rear on jack stands and the tires would turn a little bit even with the clutch in.

Im thinking an adjustable m/c might not fix the problem. I wonder if the flywheel needs to be resurfaced or replaced. Not sure what the cause is and dont want to start wasting money replacing things that are ok.

Bleed the clutch and or replace the slave cylinder with an updated version... what year is your car?

Its a 2000 with 68000 miles. Its weird because the clutch doesnt always stick. Bleeding sounds like a good idea. Although its a pita its doesnt really cost anything.

So whats the deal with the slave? Are some of them defective? If so whats wrong with them?
