Default Which RAM and flywheel (is there difference between makes)? Drivability?

The stock clutch is slipping and will be shot (literally) once the car is finished with full boost.

Needs to hold 500-550rwhp/tq in a turbo car daily driver. The RAM Level 3 looks good (rated for 500hp) or do I need Level 4. Is this the HD version? What is the HDX version? They good for a daily driver?

Also, what flywheel should I get? I figured the stocker should be replaced (car has 76k miles). I'd like something light weight like the fidanza but its pricey. Is aluminum worth it in street car daily driven. Or is the RAM billet steel pretty close in weight. Also, what is the difference between the RAM, SPEC, SLP, ect billet wheels?

im using a RAM powergrip HD + RAM steel billet flywheel, ive put ~150 miles on it but from what i can tell this sucker GRABS HARD. i believe this ones rated towards like 600hp.
im not too sure about flywheels, people say aluminum for auto x and a heavier one for drag racing because of ratational mass or whatever.. im going to be spraying on my H/C/I car and im guessing ill prob be making around 550 to the wheels so im hoping this will hold up!

do you have a link to the powergrip HD? All i ever see is the "level 3" ect ones and none of them say "HD".

So all of the steel billet flywheels are roughly same weight. only difference is when compared to the aluminum (fidanza).

This car wont see much drag time, maybe once or twice a year if that. I would like faster revs and a more autocross like setup. Is the fidanza worth it and any good gains on the street?

Is this a daily driver? If it's just for the track, you might want to consider a light flywheel. I'm no clutch expert, but I'm pretty sure that since the moment of inertia is less, the engine will match speed with the pressure plate easier. If this is true, you could try aluminum or even carbon fiber (for extreme track use and low life span).

If this is a daily driver, then a steel flywheel will have a longer life and will be easier to drive for stop and go traffic.

yepp its a daily driver. Gets a good 12-15k per year. Mostly highway but still.
What makes the steel flywheel last longer and more friendly in traffic?

Also curious if a fidanza would help make the car boost faster due to faster revs?

The heavy flywheel will allow the car to get moving at lower Revs, without having to rev to 2K rpm to get the car moving. The engine will rev faster with a lighter flywheel, but you will be sacrificing daily drivability.

If it is a DD I would DEFINITLY stick with a steel flywheel whether it is billet or a stocker.

besides drivability of the flywheel how is the drivability of the clutch. do the other clutches mentioned grab instantly or is there a "mesh" point where you can slip it a little so its not like you're launching in traffic? do they rattle/chatter? and how is the pedal, do you have to really muscle it to the floor? in a daily driver i would think these would be just as important as the flywheel being too light.

Ram hd with the billet steel fly wheel and ram adjustable m/c. Smooth no chatter, grabs hard, I like it.

Pedal is firmer than stock but not difficult and it can be slipped some as well.

lol some.. sometimes when launching from a dig its either on or off you have a very very small gap for slipping.
