Default 1995 T56 flywheel question

ok i have a 1995 t56 thats goin in a third gen, the problem that i have is the stock t56 flywheel does not have a paint mark like zoom and centerforce say it should to line the pressure plate up to... has anyone had this problem? what should i do about it. i got it from another car and the clutch and the flywheel were already separated so i did not know where it was before either?
thoughts?
thanks

I don't know what help it will be, and I'm sure you've already heard this. The issue is that LT1's are externally balanced and the "heavy spot" on the flywheel pp assembly needs to balance out the heavy spot on the bottom end. That's what the paint mark is for. Only thing I could think is to take the old PP and flywheel to a machine shop to see if thaty can match the balance for the new setup.

To be honest I'm not that familiar with the older camaros, maybe someone else could chime in. I can tell that the new pp and flywheel will have to be balanced in the same manner that the old flexplate and stall were balanced. So if they were neutral balanced the new setup needs to be neutral balanced. If they were x grams heavy at a certain position the new setup has to be x grams heavy at that position. If it's not right you'll get vibration traveling through the crank and probably cause some bottom end damage after a while.
