master cylinder

how in the world does the master cylinder disconnect from the transmission. I dont see anything that a wrench can get onto

I dont see the white plastic ring on the thing is it have a big tab on it or go all the way around. All i see is a black plastic thing going all the way around the thing

Well on the slave cylinder side theres supposed to be a white plastic ring that you use the tool to push into the fitting and it depresses the fingers alowing you to pull the quick disconnect apart. Mine does not have this ring, supposedly you can use any plastic ring that fits around the fitting. I had to cut mine off since i was changing out the slave anyhow.
