spec 3 clutch and flywheel install
This week I will be installing a spec 3 clutch and flywheel. I have a 93 z28 with 415rwhp. Is their anything i should know before I start? I really don't know much about clutches and never worked on one but my dad is a mechanic and works with manuals all the time. Any advice would be appreciated.

ok so i just came back from installing the spec 3 and flyweel. But i got a couple questions.
When letting the clutch out now if i don't have my foot on the gas it will stall instantly is that normal? If i make my master adjustable will that make it more streetable?
Also driving home i noticed if you listen carefully you can hear a constant dinging, it sounds like a music box.
Please help thanx.
P.S. Getting that trans back in was retarded. Took a good hour at least.

Ya everything was tightened. We couldn't find the torque specs for the pp so we torqued it to 35 ft lbs. First time we did it to 40 but we had to take the bell housing out again to make sure we could get the spline through(hell of a time getting that trans in) and the bolts were overtorqued so we re threaded them and put it all back together for some reason after we put it all together again the tranny was a lot easier to get in. We had to get a couple bolts started and gently pull the two together by tightening them. It seemed to just be getting hung up on the left side key on the bellhousing.
Also After it was all together my dad tried the clutch to see if it was ok. He pressed the pedel down and heard something and then the pedal was stuck so we took the master out and the fork was stuck against the wall of the bellhousing so we pried it out and put it back in place. Put the master back in and it worked fine. And i drove it home.
P.S. We never blead anything yet cause we were pretty tired and frustrated. Took us about 6 hours to do the install. Hopefully this week we will do that.
