The Valvoline Synpower exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 4, and its safe to use in both systems.

It has a much higher boiling point than DOT 3, along with longer service life being that its a synthetic.

I would try to keep if flushed using Ranger's method, takes only a couple of minutes and hopefully will keep clutch issues at bay.
