thanks everyone that responded to my question. I have desided to go with the RAM setup. not only is it a lil cheaper but I have heard NOTHING but good news about RAM. Like Java said, I have heard some complaints from other people that have used the McLeod. I'm not saying McLeod isn't a VERY good company but I think the RAM is the best bang for the buck and has had more time to develope thier product for the f-body, which means a better product. Again, thank you everyone.

Had a McLeod...now have a RAM 910 VDS. I had one of the early McLeods before they admitted it was a master cylinder problem. Ram chatters less, looks way better, SFI approved, slightly less pedal pressure and holds as good so far. My main concern was daily driving and so far the RAM is nice. No chatter unless you slip it bad. I was considering the Spec and McLeods now but went with the RAM and am happy. My Z06 clutch was ready to go.

If you can get the RAM VDS 910 and adjustable master for $795 that is the deal of the century.

J, remember not to get clouded by people that had the original version of the mcleod. they were junk b/c of the adj master. now they are a great unit.

can go wrong with the RAM. go with that link i gave you at the other board. SDPC has a great price on it.

ran the mcleod you mentioned for a long time and had my 10.83 pass with it...pulling both front tires. PUt a total of 22K miles on it until prototyping the revlok-II clutch for them. When I pulled it out...the SOB looked brand new still I was AMAZED

Also had their slave / t.o. fail on me twice. Anyway, not trying to beat a dead horse, I truly wish everyone luck with their clutches because we need competetion, good pricing and plenty of choices.
