Clutch Pedal Pressure

Clutch Pedal Pressure
Hi Guys,
After changing out the stock clutch master cylinder with the McLeod adjustable one, I've notice the pedal pressure increased about 20%. Is this normal for McLoed? I believe the system is bleed completely. Will trap air cause this pressure increase?
Also I've notice a whining noise from the engine. It increase with engine speed not road speed, but the sound is faint. This shouldn't be caused by the master cylinder changeout. However it start it making this noise right after the installation. Could this be the brake fluid getting on the bearing or something? I've got only 3,000 miles on the car.
Thanks,
Walter

Re: Clutch Pedal Pressure
Jason, thanks for the post. This puts my mind at ease a bit. I'm still trying to fingure out why the engine is making a tining sound with rpm. I think some brake fluid might of gotten into the bearing or something.

Re: Clutch Pedal Pressure
My firewall was allowing more noise into the cabin after the upgrade to the adjustable McLeod unit. I was informed this was due to the billet construction of the unit transmitting more noise than the stock unit. I don't notice it anymore, but I sure did the first few months.

Re: Clutch Pedal Pressure
You are right Jim, the sound is coming from the McLeod unit. I was a bit scary to hear the tining sound just after 3,000 miles on the car. I think the sound is coming from the pulsating of the fuel injectors. Thanks for the help.
