That hole is for the skip-shift solenoid.

I guess I'll just plug it up then or something, I have the skip shift deleted out of my computer, so it shouldn't matter as long as it can't leak right?

Where's the solenoid? Lost it in the removal?

I lost 5th 6th and reverse and needed a rebuild

I first brought my car to a local shop, they removed the tranny from the car, said it wasn;t worth rebuilding and wanted to charge me 3500 for a reman transmission, so I went and picked up all the parts and sent everything to t56rebuilds.com and I guess the local shop lost it or didnt give it back to me or I lost it when I went to package everything up.

Either way I don't have it lol.

Just plug it. Shouldn't matter but the shop didn't send it with it when we got it. You can use a plug just make sure it is the right size so it doesn't leak.

I can send you a bad one if you need it just call me in the am. I can overnight one for you at no charge if you don't have luck on a plug. I should have caught that when we sent it back out but most likely since it was torn down when we got it we just assumed you kept it. Those plugs might be hard to find in your area and just make sure it doesn't leak. That is the biggest thing.

Now thats stand up service... That right there is what convinces me to go with this company when it comes time to have tranny work done...or to get a rebuild kit.

I plugged the hole up, and got everything back together, and the tranny won't go into 5th with the car on or off and its stuck in 6th gear now, it grinds if I try and push it out and its stuck. I haven't driven it yet, but whats the problem? I guess I have to send it back now?
