Default Need QUICK input..T56 Tremec BRONZE fork pads, Yes or No

I broke down and decided to have a local shop drop my drivetrain, so that the clutch can be replaced and tranny repaired.

Tranny stays stuck in 4th whenever it wants to, so I have the steel fork, billet dogs, etc.

I have both the plastic and bronze fork pads. A local Tremec dealer suggested that the bronze oned would stiffen things up a bit.

Anyone NOT have good experience uses these?

Thanks

Sorry for the rush, but it has to happen tomorrow

I installed them in mine and have no problems. The plastic ones I pulled out had about 20k on them and were fairly worn. The bronze ones will basically last as long as you have the car. Some reported slight noise, something like brake pads on rotors, but I have no noise what so ever.

I would say yes, I prefer them over plastic every time.

I would not alter them at all. They don't fit as good, from what I have read researching T56 rebuilding here on the site it is recommended you epoxy them on.
