Well after doing some investigating i think i might have found the problem to my clutch
background. i have a starspec stage # carbon.
Last track vist i did a run and last gear after i was done the clutch stuck, had to pull it up with my foot. a little later it seemed to work fine. next run about 20 min later i hit first second, then go to third and whaaaam! cant get it in, try again, nothing, let my foot out and notice that ist suck so i have to pull it out with my foot. i pump it a few times and it seems to work ok.. (ran a 16.x )
Well doing some research and asking around, i ended up calling Cartek about new hydrolics and adj. mater cylinder.
They said they new exacly what was wrong. said my star uses the same pressure plate that the stock/zo6 does, and cant handle the force when it gets hot.
and to remidy you should use high temperature brake fluid and perform the drill mod. they said it cuts down but there clutches have a better pressure plate which this doesnt happen (guess thats why they cost so much)
looks like my next clutch wil be a cartek.

Sounds like the same exact problem I have!! Won't go into third at the track. Sometimes on the street to if I am racing or just messing around. Will the Z06 clutch and a new slave cylinder fix my problem, with the drill out mod? My car is stock by the way, it is a 2000 Z28.

Cute. Cartek refused to even talk to me about doing the drill mod last year. They were rude and said they didn't even want to consider it.

my star stage 3 works fine, only once or twice did it ever stick to the floor and that was at the end of the quarter mile but it held fine. I just pushed the clutch in and let out and it was back to normal.

hmm..cartek was nice to me and told me to do the drill mod.
i put the high temp brake fluid in and man the old stuff looked like crud, think its good to replace that.
I'll have to go to the track to see if this really works.
side note clutch pedal seems softer now, is there a way to make it harder?
