Default RAM Clutch Guys please tell all......

Hey Guys,
I have yet to hear anything bad about the RAM VDS 910 system. I ma now leaning heavily toward this setup. I would like to get a good thread going about the driving Characteristics of this setup (A continuation of StottyGs thread going on now).

I am not a drag racer, but this is not a daily driver either. Maybe 2-3 trips to the track a year and maybe 10K miles a year.

Tell me about chattering, slipping, grabbing....

TIA,
-Nick

PS: Mike @ Rapid had a nice GP on this unit going in the Sponsors section.

there is no better clutch on the market! I have been running as a test bed for several types of combinations from RAM and have never had a problem with any of them. I find that the peddle pressure is a little stiff as compared to stock but that is a desireable result of upgrading your clutch. No chatter if you know how to drive a 6-speed. My stock clutch offered more chatter than any clutch I have used thus far (and I have had a lot)

I wouldn't let my worst enemy buy anything but a RAM clutch. Talk to Mikey at Rapid (610-404-7979) or Alan at Futral MS (225-791-9593) and they can help you find the best RAM combination for your driving habits.

I'm running the 402/980 combo with the 1550 billet flywheel and luvin' it. The 980 has the organic friction material on the flywheel side and the sintered iron on the pressure plate side.
