I've had my 02' ws6 for a month and a half. Bought it with 24,900 miles. After 2 weeks and maybe 3 power shifts to 3rd smashed the 3/4 syncro. It has a 3 month 3000 mile warranty. When I took it into the dealer they didn't want to honor the warranty. They said that it was from abuse. If you cannot powershift on occassion to catch a 3rd gear scratch what good is the damn car. I had an 88 4 banger ford ranger that I didn't let off the gas to shift that would catch 3rd scratches. I did some research and called GM. They told me that the warranty was voided. I bought a car from a dealership that has a clean Illinois title but a junk title in Indiana. How could this be that they didn't disclose this at the time of sale. How could I have been the one abusing this car when it had nitrous on it that I didn't even know about it when I bought it. Needless to say the next person that will contact them will be the papers for them being served. I wanted the dealership to take the car and give me my money back. It seems that the dealership isn't taking me serious in trying to work with them. My attorney has advised me to have the dealership call them if they actually happen to call me. THEY HAVE NEVER CALLED ME. When I talked to the owner suddenly they say that they want to fix the tranny. I called my tranny guy and he said $700 to pull change 3/4 synchro and replace the shift fork with a hardened fork. I am pissed. I bought a junk car that if I drive now I have to worry about F'NING Rustangs being able to smoke me. The 2nd to 5th gear shifts really take away from the car.
