Default Can an LS6 clutch disc be used with a RAM 402 pressure plate?

I'm assuming it could be, as the RAM pp is pretty much the same as stock, except with more clamping force right? And if that is indeed the case, wouldn't an LS6 clutch disc be a wise decision for a mild bolt-on car whose driver despises any type of chatter whatsoever?! lol I already have the RAM 402/6130 combo, along with everything else in my sig, but I've had it in there now for about 35k miles, and I'm ready for a new disc. I've found an awesome deal on a practically new LS6 disc and flywheel, and I thought this would be perfect for me, as I don't plan to throw any real power at the car for a while. Somebody help me out here, because I may be WAAAYYYY off base with this assumption, but it sure would be nice if somebody could verify for me that it would work! As usual, any help is greatly appreciated!

Won't work for two reasons. 1 - the ls6 disc is 11.5 inches, the RAM plate is 11 inch. 2 - the ls6 disc is thicker than the RAM plate is set up for, and will draw the fingers in too far.

Now for the solution, use the 310M RAM disc which is a street/strip organic, will give the smoother engagement, and is set up for the plate in terms of thickness.

One final note - over time any pressure plate will develop a slight taper to the inside just from heating and cooling. If you lay a straight edge across the plate, you will see some light to the inside. If you install a new disc on the used plate, the disc *may* not seat properly and slip prematurely. I would have your plate resurfaced or replaced if you use a new disc.
