Clutch shot?

Clutch shot? It now shudders in all gears, feels like down on power. If I put it in 6th, it just shudders, rpms move but car does not.
Clutch shot? I'm just asking before pulling the clutch to inspect it. My guess is it is not the rear end.

Sure sounds like it is going out. Mine slipped badly on the dyno on the first few pulls and then eventually held. What was amazing to me was when I pulled it out it looked brand new (stock Z06 clutch). Since removing it, I read the manual about installation and there is an adjustment that is required when the new sotck clutch is installed. I am wondering if this adjustment is also applicable if the clutch is slipping. In the end I went to a Tex X-grip as a replacement and there is no adjustment on the Tex.

Thanks, if you recall you asked about my clutch a while back, Clutch Masters. Well, i did get 22K out of it, countless autox, 7 20 minute road race sessions and about 50 passes at the drag strip. Can't complain about that!!
I may stay with the FX300 series or jump up to the FX400 clutch, I know you looked at both too. The FX400 has instant engagement and no slipping so may not be good for DD, however it will hold quite well. I drove the RAM 980 (sintered iron) for 10K so it can't be any worse than that. The Tex X is too much cash right now, this will be my 5th clutch (stock, Z06, ram, clutch masters).
Killer Bluebird, a friend is coming by tonight so we can drop the tranny to inspect. He just did 2 last month and says we can have the tranny dropped in one hour.

Turns out clutch is fine, we didn't have to drop the tranny. A bad O2 sensor was causing it to miss so bad under load it felt like a bad clutch. Glad I had a friend drive with me before pulling the tranny.
