i thought i read somewhere that the gto doesnt need the drill mod, that the hole isnt as small as the F-Bodys hole is, is this true???

I read they are the same to save rear . Though the torque gov. is set higher on gto than the fbody to reduce stress on the 10 bolt so the argument could be made that it could offset one another (bigger hole/highertorqu gov. setting).
