3rd Gear Grinds
3rd Gear Grinds Sup, got a 99 WS-6 w/ a 6-speed. Whenever i'm cruisin', just goin' easy on each gear, everything seems to shift into place fine. But whenever i quick shift into 3rd, it grinds almost every time. The clutch is to the floor so it's not like i'm not giving it an opening, it doesn't grind so bad as to stop it from shifting into 3rd, just delays my shift and makes the terrible noise. Any ideas?
For sure start reading about the drill mod and start looking for a clutch that is going to fit your present/future application . The drill mod itself will help out alot with shifting in high rpms .
