Spec 3+ clutch questions. Should I use stock flywheel?
Should I just re-surface my stocker or would you guys buy the steel one they offer?
Another question..
What is the hybrid option? Is that what puts the + in the Stage 3+? lol
SC-H C5/Z06 SPEC Hybrid option $49.99
What else is needed to buy for a complete install? Master cyl?
I am aiming to buy this today. I was originally going to get the textralia, but this one is so much more cost efficient.
Anyone have any experience?
i'll be pushing around 440rwhp.

Id get a nice billet flywheel and i would also be getting a new slave and an adjustable master. Might as well do it all at once and be done with it. I like my SPEC 3+ a lot.
Im not 100% sure on the hybrid thing though.

I would not be using a SPEC 3+ with a stock master, I have a SPEC 3+ and can tell you that you will likely need to do some pedal adjusting for comfort and clutch life and since you have the tranny out anyway you might as well dish out the extra 150 for the slave. Search around here and you will be suprised how many people reuse the slave and it blows out not long after the clutch install even if it is the upgraded design.
Like I said before do it right the first time and be done with it.

I had an 01 z28 with 82k and dropped in a spec3plus with all stock components including factory flywheel just had it resurfaced. It was fine and i sold it with 91k but it held up fine.

I am one of those guys that thought the 01+ slave would be fine, but it wasn't. Just replace everything now while you are in there. Most of these cars now are getting higher miles, and should be replacing the slave anyhow.
