Default Steel Shift Fork Question

Ok, so why is there not a big push to use a steel 1-2 shift fork like there is for using a steel 3-4 shift fork? I was looking into purchasing a steel 1-2 fork but I haven't found any online. All that I have found was the aluminum 1-2 fork.

because people are lazy when shifting from 3-4 because the car is already moving and it wont stall out. This brings the need for a heavy duty steel one.

Once the bug bites us, we want and buy lots of stuff we don’t need, like MSD ignition coils. The stock aluminum forks are very strong. Have you ever seen a picture of a damaged 1-2 fork? I haven’t. The Viper version of the T56 has a steel 3-4 fork but retains the aluminum 1-2 fork.

Your adrenaline doesn't really start to flow until you hit about 60mph, thus summoning super-human strength, causing you to really rip hard back into 4th, yielding broken and bent shift forks...lol

I replaced my 3-4 with a steel one and I honestly think it would be pretty tough to actually bend the aluminum one.

The reason you can't find a steel one is no one makes them. We have been trying to get a few different places to make them but no one wants to touch them. They say the aluminum 1-2 is fine. I have only seen 1 broken in about 950 rebuilds.
