Mcleod Clutch I called Thunder Racing and they told me to run the Mcleod clutch, I'm putting down about 330rwhp plus 100 shot of nitrous (TNT F1 kit). Do you think that would be a good clutch, it was the one they have that has flywheel and everything for $860 ???????????

The McLeod clutch is extremely driveable on the street with very little chatter (unless you go kevlar/kevlar on your single disk). When you drop the hammer it will hold like a mother ******.
The single disk holds extremely well. Great master cylinder too.
I don't have a whole lot of exposure to Spec, but as I understand it they have a tendency to chatter do to their aggressive pucks.

Re: Mcleod Clutch They are both excellent clutches. I have had both in my car. The SPEC clutch broke everything on my car that was possible to break (two torque arms, 10-bolt rear end, stock driveshaft) and never chattered one bit. Awesome clutch and now they have a new design out that's supposed to be even better. McLeod is also a good clutch. I currently have the Rev-Lok II assembly in my car and it does grab like a *****. Long break in time on the Rev-lok II because of the Iron Disk. I would not go with any other type of clutch than either of these two.

Verdad Gallardo Re: Mcleod Clutch The Rev-Lok II from Thunderracing is only $400 but it doesn't come with a flywheel. You can just have your factory one resurfaced or buy the billet steel flywheel for $200. I know GM says not to resurface them but I did it and had no problems at all. I wouldn't resurface it more than once though.
