Default Hurst billet shifter, search is done for

I have the factory hurst shifter. Can something give me feedback on the hurst billet shifter, the one with the spring centered shifter? I want to know what the gears feel like when shifter and if it's smoother than the factory hurst. Also, anybody combined the lss with it?

I've got one in the CETA and I love it. I thought the stock shifter was too damn sloppy and weak. I've got the angled handle on mine and it is damn near impossible to miss a shift.

I installed a shifter on a previous vehicle and it snapped the shifter cable and it was almost impossible to know what gear you were in without driving the car for awhile.

Can you explain where a shifter cable is on our cars?
