Default 454/t56

Building a 454 for my gf's 82 z28. Will a T56 bolt up to it without any issues?

The bellhousing on the LT1 T56 isn't large enough to fit the 168 tooth flywheel the 454 needs. You'll have to use one of the aftermarket bellhousing solutions (McLeod or Weir), or use the aftermarket T56 that can bolt up to the traditional GM bellhousing.

There is an aftermarket T56 that is made to adapt to the 4bolt bow tie bell and use the original release system. Check out a 1386-000-011 T56.
