I'm changing mine this weekend, just picked up 4 Qts of Redline D4 ATF fluid and 2 Qts of 75/80 differential fluid. This is what the shops book called for, dose this sound right?

Oh no need for the GM friction modifier I was told.

The M6's do call for Dextron III ATF. Do a search and you'll find various opinions on which brand (redline, Royal Purple and etc) is better than the other.

I would go with Amsoil synthetic ATF and series 2000 75w90 rear end oil, with the series 2000 you don't have to use limited slip additive either.

hope that helps.

Amsoil was the first synthetic out.
