Stock throwout bearing shim missing?

Default Stock throwout bearing shim missing?

I'm told there is a stock GM shim on the throwout bearing. Is it plastic or rubber? I think I am missing it and the rubber piece i see is the seal. That would explain my clutch engaging only 70% and the very top. So is there suppose to be a plastic shim and a under that a rubber seal on the shaft of the slave cyl?

You have to take the throwout bearing off the slave cylinder to access the shim.

I did. I have it right in front of me. I think the only thing in there is the rubber seal. When I poked at it fluid came out.
