Kinda worried about a rebuild aspect
Well i rebuilt my transmission last week. No problems at all, i had melted fork pads but replaced them with bronze along with some other upgrades.
I had some issues with the alignment pins that screw into the case. I cross threaded one on accident and ended up breaking the pin.
I retapped the hole and got a new pin. I used red loctite and i had some trouble torquing it to the 20 lbs, felt like it was gonna snap, im closed to 20 but not there. My friend suggested i put a bead of jbweld on the screw head, connecting it to the case, to keep it in so i did that.
It has held up for a week no problems but i am worried it just might back out over time which would be very very bad. What do you suggest i do? Anything i can do to make sure that the screw stays put? Like i said, it has some red loctite, and some jb weld over the screw head.
