Default aliminium propeller shaft,/flywheel

i got the ls7clutch and ls2 flywheel, i noticed whn i installed it that it was heavyer than the stock one,

also my car is one of the cars that for some reason came with a steel propellershaft,

and i was thinking if it isint unessesary heavy.. and i am thinking of getting some ligth flywheel and aliminium shaft,

what will i gain? i know i loose torque, but with over 400lb's i think thats is just allrigth, i am trying to get good 1/4 times
