the older one i run isnt not being made no more, but there is a level 7 and leavel 8, the leavel 7 looks like mine but the disk is a puck disk, from what dave told me the level 8 you is a modified ls7 is why you use the ls7 fly wheel.

i know the level 7 is being made still cause iv had 3 friends get one in the last 4 weeks.

Oh I see what you mean. Yes I have the LS7 flywheel setup. That is the one I tested for CARTEK.

Well just a quick update. A friend and I decided to tackle the OZ700 clutch install on Labor Day. It took us 3hrs to get it done with a lift. After bleeding the system pedal pressure was good but a bit soft. Engagement was good, a bit lower than stock about mid-pedal. There was some barely audible chattering when engaging it. I drove it around and the pedal progressively got stiffer (but not a whole lot more than stock), also engagement has moved up a bit. I got 100 miles into it driving to work in traffic and running some errands. You can slip the clutch with no problem granted compared to stock it feels like slipping is very short before it grabs, but that what I want. After a few heat cycles I did some spirited driving but did not take it to red line. The thing just grabs!

I sent message to textralia about the proper breaking in procedure since there where no instructions in the box last week. I got a message back from Pete himself:
Mate, the best thing you can do is use it. Just use it abuse it and then let us know how you go!

Pete.
So I'm finishing my tune today, since now that the clutch does not slip my high rpm range 5200-7000 is a bit lean.

I'll post some pictures later tonite. As well as report back on how the recommended break in procedure is coming along. So far I love it money well spent. Performs good and feels awesome.
